I am a higher apprentice in Consulting. I am currently within the Pursuit Hub which involves helping engagement teams structure and write proposals for upcoming opportunities. I also do a lot of the reporting for the Pursuit Hub including analysing data to see whether there are any consistent/ongoing trends in the opportunities we have won and lost.
I have learnt a lot of new skills since joining PwC. There are lots of training opportunities available and I am now skilled in using our internal tools and systems. I am also studying towards a diploma and certificate in Management Consulting.
I enjoy the programme- I have met a lot of talented people and am learning lots of new skills.
I feel valued by PwC, they give me a lot of responsibility and empower me. They also recognise when I have done a task well and offer lots of praise.
The programme is well structured and organised. However, when I am busy in my role, it is difficult to take my study time each week. I think this may make balancing study with work quite difficult.
I have received a lot of support- my tutor is really helpful and encouraging.
I have received a lot of support from my employer. I have a buddy and people manager who have supported me throughout my time here.
My salary meets my costs efficiently. However, I often have to work extremely late and do not get paid overtime for this. Plus, travel is very expensive.
Yes, there are lots of volunteering opportunities and social opportunities e.g. the pantomime.
