Shadowing qualified engineers on failure investigations and material analysis
Personal development and character building is a main objective of the company I have also built technical knowledge in my field
day to day I enjoy the programme but there is room for imporovement
due to the nature of the work and a lack of technical knowledge sometimes it can be easy to feel unimportant but in the bigger picture apprentices' are more valued as they progress through the course
very organised, our HR representative makes a brilliant job of organising the programme
The college I attend is not run well and the examiner from there in charge of my NVQ is very disorganised and out of touch with apprentices
The employer is very good at providing training, equipment and support when needed
The salary matches the role and covers all cost
plenty
Yes
the company really look after you as they are trying to do everything they can to enable you to produce your best work
as well as good academicals achievements, active personal interests and a keen work ethic are desired traits
