I am an operations apprentice at the moment I have only just finished my primary training. how ever I will be moving into my first placement on Monday the 13th and will be doing calibration and maintenance.
yes I have learnt lots of different skills including soldering, cabling/wiring, as well as life skills like communications.
I really enjoy work as I enjoy hands on learning over classroom learning.
I feel like a valued employee as we are given a lot of respect from other members of the company.
this year the program has been structured differently due to the new build, however overall the structure is well developed and designed. we have good support and a mentoring system to help us.
as a dyslexic I have had less support than I had in school however we do receive support with our training practically but little support at the moment with written work.

the salary meets my costs very well and I consider the pay as a great incentive to really work to my full potential.
yes as long as they are not on a collage day.
Yes
I would and have recommend friends to MBDA as I believe this is a great company to start a career.
I would recommend researching the company, as well as for an engineering roll to bring examples of past work for example a log book or bringing a circuit board you have made. I would also say just be yourself.
