I am an audit assistant. I complete tasks on audits on a day to day basis and interact with clients also. I work in a team whilst on these audits and communicate with other members so we can complete the audit to a high standard.
I have developed my client interaction skills, meaning I know the questions needed to be asked to gain the information required. I also have improved my computer skills.
I enjoy my job very much, I enjoy learning new skills and meeting new people and I enjoy working in a team also.
I feel well valued at RSM, they help me where it is needed and set me targets on how to improve.
My programme is well structured, I am informed of when I am in college and what is needed from me regularly and I am kept up to date with all the necessary information.
I receive an adequate amount of support from my training provider, they give me the help needed when I am at college and help me pass my exams.
I receive a large amount of support from my employer. They give me help where it is needed and are constantly giving review points on how to improve my work.
My salary is very good, I have more than enough for the costs I have currently and can live comfortably on this salary whilst living at home.
There are opportunities to get involved in different events outside of work. Earlier this year RSM did events for the duke of Edinburgh awards.
Yes
It is a welcoming company with good all round support and helps me grow as I start my career.
Make sure you are prepared for your interviews, if you put in the work before hand, it makes it a lot easier and you feel more confident on the day.
