My job title is outsourcing assistant. On a daily basis, I can be required to assist with a number of tasks, from back office admin work, to VAT returns and management accounts. Due to the seamless teamwork at RSM, we are constantly communicating with each other - both inside our team, and inter-service lines. It is important that all work is kept on top of, and is completed to the highest standard, within the required time limits.
Studying for AAT I have gained a number of skills, with a current distinction in my courses. As well as this, there are a number of internal training courses that I have taken part in, both for soft skills and extra development on programmes used within the firm.
I have really enjoyed my programme, the people I work with are fantastic and the job provides a great basis for the examination training. My expectations were definitely exceeded, the work is often challenging, but as someone who likes to be tested this has only helped me develop faster.
