As part of the Business Insight Week I completed tasks relating to a variety of topics (under the bridge of consulting) and I interviewed a number of people (mostly involved me asking them questions about interested their field of work). On the last day each member of the Business Insight Week got together to produce group projects -- very fun day!
I learned a lot about further steps to take after the weeks itself and how I can further my opportunities in future. I also learned many valuable interview skills and about the general services of PwC
I enjoyed it very much - everyone I met was very welcoming and encouraging
I feel valued a great deal as after I finished the week I was emailed and phoned personally asking about what I would possibly be looking for from PwC in future
The first day was very organised and it was extremely useful gaining a brief understanding of each sector within the firm. Likewise the last day was very organised and slick, thus was very enjoyable. However, at some points in between this I found that there was little structure - but I didn't mind as I just emailed PwC employees asking if they would be willing to meet with me to chat about their fields as they also interested me
On the basis I'm interpreting 'training provider' as the buddy which I was assigned, he was slightly absent throughout the week however still very kind
In terms of the staff at PwC they were great.
Very well!
In my case, there was a lot of opportunity to conduct my own personal goals for the week outside of the tasks which I was set
Yes
Great environment to discover what really interests you and they are very encouraging and accommodating to students at a variety of levels
Take full advantage of the week and talk to as many people as possible
