My role was very engaging, it involved client work such as examining financial records against bank statements.
I have developed a myriad of skills. One in particular was how to convey discrepancies or findings to a client in a professional manner.
My enjoyment came from the experience. I had the opportunity to work in one of Sony's offices which was situated in Soho. The work and my team was amazing. It was an extremely enjoyable experience.
Whilst participating in this programme you will feel extremely valued by PwC. This is because of the respect and trust you receive. I was given a laptop throughout the whole week, a PwC email address, access to the PwC's network and i was actively involved in the client work.
It was apparent that time and thought went into the programme. Simply because you was always doing something!
You receive alot of support and more importantly advice . I felt comfortable asking my training provider about the ins and out of his job and what to do if i got stuck.
Alot of support i always felt as if I had someone to contact if i had a problem.
All travelling costs were covered for and on top of that we received a very very healthy wage! I honestly would have done the whole experience for free but to be compensated for the work you put in was a major plus and it just highlights how much PwC respects you as an individual.
Alot of the times i would go straight home after work . But on occasions i did have a meal with my work colleagues.

It's an experience that develops you as an individual. It's a real authentic insight. I've learnt so much about the profession and about my self!
Really utilise the opportunity you have been given! Ask questions, and make sure you are involved with the process. It will be a tiring week but one that is well worth it!
