Yes I have developed skills such as: Telephone skills Email skills I have built a lot more confidence I have learned a lot about the sector I work in from online internal courses I will gain a level 3 diploma in Business and Administration at the end of this course
I enjoy my programme as I like the team I work in and the culture at JLL. I also really enjoy my workshop (college) days as it is a good chance to develop knowledge about business in general and not just the sector I work in.
Yes I feel valued by JLL as I will always be recognised if I have done something good and the people I work with are always grateful when I help them on a job.
My programme is very well structured i had a formal induction which helped me settle in a lot. I have regular workshop (college) sessions. I also have regular catch ups with HR and the other apprentices.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider I have phone numbers and emails that I can message when I need guidance with work and they are there to support me. I enjoy my training workshops a lot.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. The team around me are always very supportive and make sure I haven't got too much or too little going on. I have regular catch ups with HR, these are every 3 months. I also have quarterly apprentice meetings where we discuss our apprenticeships and organise networking events for the apprentices.
My salary meets my costs very well as I get all travel costs paid for me on top of my salary. This allows me to have more money to spend on lunches, social life and living costs.
Yes there are some opportunities outside of work. I know that JLL have sports clubs such as netball which are available to join. There are also company networking events available.
Yes
As it is a huge organisation which has so many opportunities in it that allows you to progress. It is a great way to get experience in the business world as you see so many different jobs that you didn't know even existed before.
Make sure your application form and CV is the best that it can be, so many people apply for JLL apprenticeships as they have so much to offer the apprentices they take on, you need to stand out. When it comes to the interview just be your self as I think personality is key.
