I am a financial higher apprentice on a 4 year rotation programme, i am studing AAT at the same time. I am currently working in Treasury Finance assisting in qith the structural reform project that Barclays is currently going through, opening and closing books to form our new structure as a bank.
Yes i have learnt many new skills, from interacting with senior leaders to improving my excel skills, i have also developed my all round skills and become a more business minded induvidual.
I enjoy the programme massively and i believe choosing to do this instead of going to uni may be one of the best choices i have made.
My team makes me feel very valued i attend team meetings and even present results of a programme i look after once a month to the director team. I get given work that anyone would be given i am not less trusted then any other.
Very well structured, we are all asigned buddies to help us with any questions we may have, we also have learning and development sessions each week to improve our skills.
Very good recieve constant email in regards to how i am getting on.
i recive loads of support constant, from my team and the apprentice working group.
i am content with my salary.
