My day to day tasks at the minute is mainly focused on projects and development of colleagues. For example i am starting to be involved in more 1-2-1s as well as leading training sessions.
My though process is now certainly different, from working my way through the bank i feel i have learnt how to think more in depth and not to rush to decisions.
Very much so. Would reccommend. programme stretches my both professionally as well as mentally. The opportunity to learn is a also a big factor in the enjoyment.
On branch basis very valued, given more responsibility on regular occasions. From the programme management itself not so much.
News can sometimes can a long time to get from top to bottom and i can often hear news from other sources rather than from course leaders before they have told us. Programme leaders can soemtimes be hard to reach which is expected but sometimes you can not get hold of them at all.
Support from anglia ruskin is amazing, emails are oftern replied to same day if not within 2 days. Course leader is fantastic and couldnt do more for us.
From my branch manager and the people around me a lot of support and guidence is given. CBD is also very good in any opportunites he gets he will point them my way.
Salary is very good, considering what some other apprentices earn not just in the banking sector but across apprentices altoghter. The degree is obviously a massive advantage too.
In terms of opportunities outside of work sometimes the worklife balance can be hard due to long hours at work as well as having to complete assignments.
Yes
Compnay as a whole is very good development not just on programmes like mine but also normally in te bank. The packages availble are also fantastic and the opportunites are endless in such a global company.
Be yourself, if you are not yourself and get the job the job isnt for you. Also make sure you are ready to work as banking is not a sector where you breeeze through.
