I change roles every 6-10 months. I am currently a moment Banker where Day to day I help customers with complex queries regarding fraud, opening accounts, loans, overdrafts and insurance
Throughout my apprenticeship I have learnt more about myself and how I work best with others. I have been stretched regarding self management and I am being given the tools to become a successful leader.
I love the fact that I am able to network and build relationships with people I otherwise would never have built relationships with. The projects I am able to get involved in and the opportunities I get to represent barclays to the wider public is amazing. It has really boosted my confidence.
I feel very valued. I am able to really get involved in the day to day running of the business not only on a branch level but on a community level also.
I would say the apprenticeship is structured well but improvements could be made. For an apprentice who have done 6 months in each role, it is hard to see where to go after assistant manager
I recieve an amazing amount of support from the tutors and lecturers from Anglia Ruskin university
I am lucky enough to have a great deal of support from the colleagues and managers in my community we
The salary is perfect for me right now. There is little costs involved apart from getting to work each day. Study blocks are paid for by barclays
There are community work opportunities for example going on to schools and talking to pupils about apprenticeships
Yes
There is an amazing support stucture in place for the higher apprentices and the amount of people you meet really puts you in a good place for rolling off of the programme.
Be yourself! Believe in yourself and others will believe in you
