On a day-to-day basis on my placements I work closely with my line manager and learn what their role entails and take part in jobs that they do. I work towards achieving my objectives every day.
So far I have learnt how to be confident in my ideas and how to put them forward. I have gained a lot of knowledge by studying my business degree and NVQ work.
It is definitely the best achievement I have had in my life to have this opportunity. I look forward to work every day and not many people can say that.
I feel very valued by MBDA. The business has invested a lot of time and money into me and I will give everything I can back to the company in return.
My programme is very structured. On my first proper day I got given a plan for the next 4 years which showed all of my placements and I have been working through them as planned.
I receive firm support from my training providers. I have regular contact with my NVQ provider and know what stage I am at and what I need to do in order to progress.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. I am comfortable with asking anyone for a helping hand and everyone is willing to offer their time in order to assist me in whatever my problem is. I receive great advice daily and feel fully supported.
My salary covers all of my costs and I have plenty of disposable income.
There are many opportunities such as the football team, charity challenge team and being invited to balls/dinners.
Yes
I can't say a bad thing about the company as I am very happy here. I urge all of my friends to get an apprenticeship, and especially with this employer as it is definitely at the one of the best available opportunities out there in terms of apprenticeships.
On your interview, just be yourself. It's not all about knowledge, show your character.
