Customer Service Advisor, Taking phonecalls from internal and external customers, answering their queries. Managing mailboxes to again, answer queries from internal and external customers.
I have developed many skills from the appreticeship. A few being: learning how to better manage my time to complete projects and coursework for the apprenticeship. This also gave me the confidence to take on the Proffesional Banking qualifications.
I enjoyed it very much. A few highlights were attending mid and end of year events to network with colleages, on the scheme already from different department to share experiences. Also the time spent with the Trainer Assessor was valuable, mainly as they did not work for the Group so can give their view from a different perspective.
Very valued. The fact that the bank is paying for the apprenticeship only shows that they value my professional development. Also being recognised at apprenticeship events through the year added to this.
It was organised in a way that we were introduced to our trainor assesser for the apprenticeship at the outset then monthly meeting were aranged 2 months in advance, just in case of a cancellation
Monthly meetings with the trainer to provide guidence on the coursework. Also the trainer was very accessable by email or phone whenever required and always responded promptly.
My line manager was very supportive throughout the apprenticeship allowing for any time out from my day-to-day role to attend events, meetings and time for studying.
It is a very fair salary and it more than pays for all expenses. In lloyds banking group their is no salary increases or decreases for apprentices so you will get paid for the riole that you are doing.
During my apprenticeship I was given the opportunity to take part in some school visits to promote Lloyds Banking Group and the apprentice scheme. This was great as it gave me more experience in that type of activity.
Yes
Lloyds Banking Group is a great place to work and truely care about development and pushing colleagues to better themselves and progress with their careers.
Try and stay ahead of the game. When you are told to complete a piece of work by the trainer assessor, ask what more you can do along side this to stay ahead of the programme timescale.
