My daily tasks involve deletions, exports and creating viewing links for external and internal clients. My work includes a lot of media management as well as problem solvong.
I feel I learnt a lot during my year apprenticeship, I have been on various training courses that have taught me very important skills. these skills can be transfered to other jobs if I wish.
Unfortunately it differed slightly from what I had originally expected from the apprenticeship. I believed it to be a slightly more creative role. this caused some problems at the beginning.
I feel I got adequate recognition for my achievements here at Sky. I feel for the most part, my work is appreciated by my manager. I became a part of the team very quickly though and was given real responsibility.
There were many issues throughout the first months of the apprenticeship that set back my progress but they got sorted later on. This set me back a little bit which caused more work in the last few months,
I got support most of the times that I needed it. There were a couple of times I think more support was needed. they made it very clear that we could call or email whenever we needed help but sometimes the responses would come a little late.
I got support most of the times that I needed it. There were a couple of times I think more support was needed. I had regular contact with my apprenticship leaders here as well to make sure it was all going well.
The salary more than covers the costs like travel and living. It was extremely competitive and made Sky an even more appealing place to work. It is better than any other apprenticeship i saw.
There have been a few opportunities but not as many as I would've hoped for. There were however, a lot more internal portunities that made up for this a lot.
Yes
There are a huge amount of benefits that Sky employees receive and working for such a large company allows a variety of careers to be looked into at a young age.
Your CV and qualifications aren't as important as your interest and passion. You could come here with very little knowledge on your chosen apprenticeship field but as long as you portray true enthusiasm. You have an much greater chance of getting the position and enjoying it.
