Apprentice Claims Handler When people are involved in a car accident they call us to log their claims. We deal with all different types of claims.
I am earning my CII and also an SVQ in Providing Financial Services. I am learning ICT skills.
I am enjoying it a lot, I'm happy with the qualifications I'm earning and my team and Team Leader are really helpful. It is a really good company to work for and I'm proud to say I work for DLG.
If you are doing a good job you are told about it. We also have oddits done on our calls every month and this tells you how well you are doing.
I think that the programme is very well structured. Training helped you understand everything you needed for on the job tasks. We are also given 3 and a half hours per week in work for our studying which I think is really good.
Our tutor emails us regularly to check how we are getting on and also comes in to see us for an hour every 6-8 weeks to make sure we are up to date with our studying. We have her contact number and email to contact her if we have any problems too.
My manager and team are very supportive and always willing to help me if I get confused about anything.
I'm happy with the amount I'm earning as I'm only 18 and still live with my parents. Travel costs are decent. Location is perfect.
There are a lot of company events throughout the year that all are allowed to attend. We also arrange for team nights out and I went Go Karting with my team recently.
Yes
It's a great company to work for. The benefits are really good and so is holiday entitlement. All of the managers and staff are lovely.
Keep calm and don't worry. I was worried when I went for my Interview but it was no where near as bad as I expected.
