Claims handling - ensuring that customer queries are met, delivering brilliant customer service, having basic ICT skills. Dealing with customer complaints and resolving these to the best ability, having good communication skills and building rapport with customers and other organisations/groups.
I have developed my communication with becoming confident in the role, expanded my knowledge within financial services and insurance.
I absolutely love my apprenticeship.
Extremely valued, because we are some of the first apprentices on the scheme the way we live and breath DLG values is taken very seriously within our day to day role.
At first, the programme was difficult to understand with an overload of information but having the support we have it has become a lot more understandable and is actually quite interesting. We have an examiner/assessor come in regularly to go through our content and also explain anything we don't understand and to monitor our performance - as well as the support from SME's, Team Leader and employees around us.
A lot of support not just from the provider but as previously said, from everyone else within the work environment.
Tonnes! The training programme is the best I have ever been on. I have had a previous apprenticeship before this and felt so much more ready for the job after training!
Very well - no complaints.
For me personally, I am part of the CCT so I take part in organising alot of the social events that happen in and around DLG.
