I can not do this as its a cyber security role, but I work in group IT under cyber security
I learned more new skills through the staff than our external training provider.
I love my job, the people are lovely. But the programme in place was shabby.
by LBG yes, by the apprentice scheme no, there is no communication between the scheme and the apprentice, you don't get a well done for completing form the scheme, its just low moral.
its poorly organised, the external trainer was awful, and communication between the scheme and the apprentice is non existent.
training provider- learn direct was difficult. I had their managers call some of the apprentices 'special cases' even though the issues created was of their own doing. Also for the last 3 months I had no assessor and I had to guess what I was doing based off the mark scheme
the scheme its self hardly any. The members of staff that you work with, a lot, they couldn't have been more supportive.
I work in London, everything is inflated, from your lunch to buying a birthday card. But paying £3900 on a season ticket is really tough. There is provisions made for apprentices that work and live in London, but for those commuting in there is nothing and we are usually facing a higher bill and I find this incredibly unfair.
yes, I actively volunteer within the community with career ready to support young people to understand career
Yes
yes there are some negatives, but you will never find a nicer bunch of people and they are always incredibly supportive, from the senior leadership down to a cashier. We are a human bank, and the staff do care.
Don't worry, take every step as it comes, and don't panic about the interview. Be open and honest.
