I am a customer service advisor for the financial industry. I deal with customers on a day to day basis to answer their queries and carry out their banking needs.
I have learned to use new communication skills that I previouisly did not have. I have also learned how to drive my own development within my role.
I have completed my program and I did enjoy it, although at times it was stressful fitting it around my job, it was great to be able to do this kind of learning while working a full time job. The tutors were fantastic and made it fun as well as useful and educational
I feel very valued by LLoyds Banking Group. My ideas are listened to and actioned where appropriate. I am given a great reward package and my work life balance is always being assessed to ensure that I am happy.
My programme was one of the first introduced to LLoyds Banking Group so was not the smoothest. At times it felt like nobody knew what to do or who to speak to, however as the program continued, this got better and the communication got stronger
My training provider was fantastic and I could not recommend her highly enough. She always took the time to ensure that I was performing to the best of my capabilities and ensured that I got the most out of the apprenticeship scheme.
My employer was not very supportive to begin wih, but this was down to it being the first scheme ran in this department. After a while the communication etween my employer and trainer was improved and any help i needed was provided by my employer.
My salary and reward package is great for what I do. I never feel like I am short changed or working for a wage that does not meet my requirements. We also have a bonus scheme which is a great uplift
My employer provides a scheme called Day to Make a Difference, this scheme allows us to take one day a year to go out and help local charities or schools as volunteers and give back to the community.
Yes
It is a great company to work for and the package that comes with working for lloyds is exceptional compared with other business within the same sector. The opportunities to progress are endless and the rewards for pushing yourself and trying to improve are great.
If you are looking to apply, you must be adaptable and be open to change. The business needs can change regularly which means that you may be required to change roles without much notice. This can be scary but is also a great opportunity to develop new skills and build larger networks within the business.
