Making customers better off with an stated or unstated need. Helping as part of a team to Help Britain Prosper
The most effective mway to provide customers with an outstanding level of service with every transaction
The programme itself was very informative and well run. There were elements of the programme that I personally felt were counter productive such as the english and maths GCSE with learn direct, especially since I had studied both of these at higher levels.
At the time of partaking in the Scheme I felt very valued by the bank, however over the last year I feel that with the progress being made, the current role I am in is being faded out and that we are not being rewarded in pay as much as we should be, for instance the reduction in variable pay and the high quality of work and service we provide I feel that we are not rewarded in terms of the annual pay.
The programme was well organised by the bank however the Maths and English part was very unorganised and felt very rushed when getting towards the end of the course and being unable to take the exams. I had various changes in learn direct tutors and would not be comfortable using them for anything in he future.
The training provider Amanda was absolutely brilliant. She was very empathetic witht eh frustration I was feeling with learn direct and the constant change of tutors. She made sure that she was available to me at any point. The bank was also quite good at giving me some time to complete through work time however it did feel like I was having to push for the time a little.
The support received was high however like I said getting the necessary time off in a month to be able to complete sections before my trainer came in to the branch for the mneeting became forced. The amount of time that we being put in athome was significantly more however I went in expecting this to be the case.
Salary has been an ongoing concern. For young people attempting to get on to the property ladder, being able to afford to do so on a salary such as mine is proving to be very difficult. There was a time where I was spending a considerable amount of my monthly salary on travel costs for almost 2 years. I feel that there should be an increase in salary as there are people that have come in to the business that are earning more money than someone like myself who has been in the business for over 4 years. This is probably quite a common theme for this question though.
This is something that I will certainly be looking in to as I feel there may be other areas that I can go in to that will satify my salary needs.
Yes
Because even though there are underlying issues surrounding the roles and the level of pay and variable pay, this aside Lloyds banking group is a good company to work for esecially the set hours that we work.
Make sure there are opportunities to be able to move up the ladder in to. This is something that is proving more and more difficult within the bank.
