wealth management apprentice, dealing with day to day administration and assistance and reporting to senior staff, occasional ad-hoc activities
Learning how to perform background checks on potential clients, improving efficiency within the work environment and coming to understand the basic foundations of the financial world
the working culture and environment is good, staff are understanding and you are cared for at UBS, its a nice environment to grow and learn more about the various sectors which make ubs, it is a truly global firm
I feel very valued and depended upon, there is a level of reasoning and understanding towards my individual needs and im considered just that, an individual with individual needs compared to a number of employees blocked to do the same thing
well structured and organized within the workplace, the academic side of things could definitely be improved
adequate support, it is occasionally hard to find the balance between working life and studying and we are expected to independently work through our studies
a decent amount of support, it is occasionally hard to find the balance between working life and studying and we are expected to independently work through our studies
The salary could be better, travelling into the city is very expensive, as well as this our work isn't easy at all, we are heavily relied on by the business and often stay well past working hours to ensure our work is completed, this extended amount of time at work and stressful work load could and should be compensated with a better pay package.
there are opportunities to volunteer, loads of social events and therefore the socials outside of work are great, if someone wanted to they could really engage with the UBS global world
Yes
good employer
to conduct thorough research in the area/division they would like to go into and that they are expected to work long and hard to thrive in the business, it may be tough and at points may seem not worth it, but stick through and things will get better
