Studying for qualifications.
I enjoy the culture of the business and people in it.
UBS are a big company so recognition isn't always there however we are looked after well.
The studying side could be enhanced with making it a degree level apprenticeship so allowing us to do a degree alongside work however support is good. The structure is still developing as it is a new program. Induction is a lot more structured than the scheme itself.
The webinars online are out of date and there isn't much support after the revision days.
Support is there if needed. We are allocated a coach and mentor/line manager.
It cost me over 250 a month to get into work. Roughly 5-10 a day on food. I pay rent and also other bills (i.e phone bill, gym membership, car insurance, petrol, other expenses going out). It's expensive in London and I believe are wage doesn't consider that on top of every day living.
Yes a lot. We always get encouraged to take 2 days a year to do something for charity and we have access to a good gym with classes and social events are emailed.

Its a very good organization, the best wealth manager. The culture of the business is great, the opportunities it presents you is good. Having the opportunity to learn and grow with some of the industries best is motivating. Its a company you can have a diverse career in or general career and they support self development.
Learn about the business. Decide whether you want a degree or not... If you want to be in finance or not. Be yourself and honest. Be humble and try not to stress too much, they are there to find out about who you are as a person. If you don't get the job from being yourself then you know at least you done the best you could.
