Auditor, Carry out testing at client site to gain assurance over figures within stats Interact with many different clients on a daily basis at all levels of the business, HR to MD. Projects for me would be all the different audits we do. Done multiple audits already.
Becoming ACA qualified. Developed my excel skills hugely and taken part in internal training to use our ems system.
Programme is good, the work can be tedious from time to time due to nature of job, team always good, company culture is basically just work hard and that is the expectation but I don't mind. Very different to what i expected.
Feel very valued, people expect way too much and it is normal to work 10-12 hour days but always thanked and i think the people I work for appreciate the effort that is put in.
Don't see the reason for the apprenticeship bit, all of the reflective statements are useless and don't show anything, just a waste of time to be honest but the rest is fine, ACA is a really highly regarded and worthwhile qualification and I feel like doing this on the job straight of school works well. There is a good support system in place. There is a lot of pressure on me to work lots and pass difficult exams but that is the nature of the job so that's totally fine. Reflective statements on top of that is just annoying.
Tutors are good, they teach and offer up time despite no one ever really staying afterwards.
Appraiser at Deloitte is also useful to have someone although again I am yet to really use them.
Salary does meet costs of living just fine, although not much reason for us to get paid less than Graduates from what I can see. Do the exact same job with the exact same expectations. Also Graduate loan is far bigger again for no real reason. Maybe good to fix this.
Yes there are plenty just have to know where to look if you can be bothered. More central things would probably be fun though, like a day off for the whole office to do something.
Yes
Good opportunity to get qualified straight out of school with a big name on your CV
Don't apply if you can't work a 60 hour week, this job isn't for you.
