Trainee Associate Examining various accounts and testing for audit assertions Great colleagues. Get exposure to senior managment. Client interaction, with people varying from the financial accountant to the financial director
On my way to completing the first 6 exams of the ACA and gaining a CFAB qualification by end of the year. Confidence with clients, improvement with communication, presentation and work quality.
Great work ethic. Long hours but also good social environment. Good teams. Fantastic company culture. Hard work/long hours always pay off. More than i initially expected of the company, in a good way. I do indeed enjoy it. I acknowledge on some days i may not enjoy it, but the good days where i'm learninig makes up for it.
Juniors are treated with great care at EY which i very much appreicate.
I feel the programme can be a bit better structured in the sense that we know what is coming next. Other than that it is great.
Kaplan tutors are good, not great. Most of times i have ended up teaching myself as the tutors go too fast and don't answer questions clearly. However, they are very approachable.
EY gives massive support.
It is too expensive for me to live out. So i stay at home. I think staying at home is a good option for me at the moment as i have enough disposable income to have fun and save at the same time.
A lot of outside work opportunities. I am quite keen on CSR days which i have been fortunate enough to do this year. The company also gives 2 days in a year for CSR which is excellent.

Learn more than uni and builds character.
Be honest. I never lied in my interviews or application. If you lie you will get caught out. Try your best and be positive. Even if you don't get in, you can take it as a learning process and apply the skills learnt next time you apply somewhere else.
