My role is currently an operations support consultant. My role is like an in house HR role, with my colleagues supporting colleagues holidays and sickness procedures, ensuring that they are inline with LBG HR procedures. My team tracks this on an inhouse headcount database with all colleagues information stored centrally. My main interactions on a day to day basis include team and operation managers
I have gained a Business Admin qualification and have been able to use my apprenticeship to build upon my networking skills. I have learnt how to appropriately communicate with stakeholders and have also been able to use my development time to complete my apprenticeship.
I enjoyed my apprenticeship as it allowed me to build upon my expertise within my team. It also allowed me to learn time management and allowed me to have development time within my role.
I feel more than valued within Lloyds Banking Group, my relationship with my manager is strong and is honest with myself and supports me with my development goals. We have an amazing recogintion for all colleagues and have good insentives to work towards.
I recieved a really good onboarding programme and recieved great support within my team. My mentor was really efficent and supportive and was always on hand to help.
My mentor is really supportive and accessible. The module was easy to understand and wasnt too complicated and was really helpful with guides to support. I really enjoyed my apprenticeship.
The support offered is amazing here. My mentor woprked alongside my manager really well and both were really positive towards supporting me.
My salary package is really beneficial as I live at home and it does not cost me a lot to travel to work. Lloyds Banking Group also pay for your travel and accomodation should it be required for the role.
Yes- there are plenty of opportunites with company recognition events and roadshows. The company love encouraging volunteering and each colleague complets volunteering.
Yes
I enjoy working for Lloyds Banking Group as it is an inclusive place to work and makes you feel valued as a workplace. It is also a really respectable company to work for and you have great benfits and I enjoy coming to work everyday which is really rare:)
I would say definately do your reasearch on the company. Also try to find any interview information surrounding lloyds. Always be confident and make small talk with the interviewers as it shows you are approachable. Always use examples of you putting the customer first and working as part of a team. Remember its ok to be nervous as it shows you really want it, just dont let those nerves get you down!:)
