I am an Assistant Relationship Manager in Lombard, RBS Group. Lombard is an asset finance provider. I support Senior Managers in quoting customers and doing deals for all sorts of assets and customers.
I have completed AAT Level 2 & 3 along with working and have learnt a various number of skills. I have learnt a lot from the Regular reading reviews we do every quarter
I enjoy the work environment and I love the team I work in. I didn't expect to enjoy myself as much as I have and make good friends along the way also
I feel valued because I am given flexibility and support when needed. Managers are always there for us to ask help from and talk to about anything.
Well organised, we are given support and resources such as exam papers and detailed amount of notes to help us prepare for any exams we took.
enough, I attended college once a week and was given enough resources and studying time which enabled me to sit and pass the 10 exams that I took
A lot, I can get flexible working times and a lot of support from everyone. Line managers are kind and helpful as they listen to any problems I face.
The travel is expensive because I am based in central London. Living costs are okay but I think if I was living alone, paying rent, I'd struggle.
Many which I need to take. There's many sporting events, like squash and netball to raise money for charity. Company events to promote RBS and Lombard.
Yes
RBS puts us first, our health and wellbeing is important to them. They support your needs and offer flexible times for you to work. Working from home etc
Just be yourself during the interview, you will be welcomed. Take all opportunities that you are given. keep calm on assessment day. I would have like to know more about my job role.
