I Work at Coutts 24 general banking services which Is a telephony based role. my job is to assist clients in a wide variety of general banking needs from making faster payments to stopping cheques and debit cards. This is a customer facing role that allows me to interact with a wide array of individuals as well as cooperate with colleagues
I have developed my customer facing and confidence through my time here so far, as well as cementing my knowledge of general banking and the industry. we are also provided time to extend our understanding of a topic of our choosing at intermittent periods in the week
I really enjoy the apprenticeship programme, the work environment is so positive and really productive to work in, the apprenticeship itself is really engaging and interesting
I feel valued by the company and really respected and considered when changes or meetings occur. any outstanding work I do is noticed and rewarded and I'm always involved with any tasks I can help in
My apprenticeship programme is extremely organised, with all the key due dates readily available to me. I have received all the necessary training and am provided with any and all support from both the BPP advisor and my managing team
I receive ample support from both my team manager and my apprenticeship advisor who are easily accessible and are generally positive and helpful in any way they can. they are both really easy to talk to and they would explain things clearly and in a way you can easily grasp

The salary is sufficient to meet the costs of travel living and other expenses.
there are always opportunities outside of work to network and communicate with people from across the bank in a variety of settings, allowing us to discuss the apprenticeship with others in different departments and general have a wider social spectrum in the company

The application process isn't easy, but you'll definitely get as much as you put in to the programme, if you're committed and know how to talk to clients you'll do well
