I work for a keying department for RBS credit card centre. Dealing with settling funds for VISA ands MasterCard as well as moving funds between customers accounts and credit cards.
From my time being employed here I have learnt copious amounts about the banking sector as well as skills in fundamental business situations such as meetings and conference calls.
Apart from a rocky start due to my original team facing redundancies, the programme is now in full swing and I am eager to complete my course.
I have great support from my management team
A few issues to do with exam scheduling as well as issues at the start of my programme to do with my job role.
My training provider is always willing to support me through emails and phone calls
My immediate managers are very supportive and strive to help me progress
I feel like the salary fairly matches the expectations of my job role and suits as a good starting point for a young worker.
RBS for the most part has community investment schemes available to employees. My immediate team do nights out
