My official job title at Mace is, Trainee Assistant Construction Manager. This consists of me managing the daily activities on site. I do this by doing sate walks throughout the day and make sure that all works are being done efficiently and correctly.
Whilst at Mace I have developed a wide range of new skills. These skills include, team working skills, time management, punctuality, confidence. Overall I think I have matured a lot whilst at Mace.
I have enjoyed my program a lot so far. This is because of all the experience I have gained and all of the people I have met. The large group of apprentices is great because it gives me the chance to meet and network with a wide range of people.
Mace group have made me feel valued within the business. This is because I always feel very welcome by anyone i meet within Mace and they always provide any help if i need it. The resources are always available to me if i need them.
My programme is organized very well. I feel this because i am always informed of any training or events well in advance. The Apprenticeship team is also very quick to answer any of my queries that i have.
My training provider also provide me with any support that i require. For example if i need any help with the coursework, they will be very willing to help me out.
I am very please with the support that i receive from my employer. They make all the apprentices feel very welcome which means they are always willing to ask questions.
My salary/package meets my costs very well. Mace have a very good benefits package which pays for all my travel to and from work and also university.
Mace have provided me with lots of opportunities outside of work which have always been fun. These include volunteering, company events, and helping out in the local community.
