  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a trainee construction manager. Currently I am responsible for two areas on the project I am on and the trades that work within the areas. Some of the tasks I do are marking up progress, snagging finished works, solving problems, attending meetings and supervising activities on site. My job is really varied no two days are the same and I interact with a variety of different people so it's really fast paced and interesting. The team I work with on my project at Mace are really supportive and have helped me learn about my role in order to give me increased responsibilities and help me in my day to day job.
