Reviewing complaints, then either advising the complainant that the ICE office cannot take them on due to no signposting to the office, or if there is a signposting to ICE, define the key elements of there complaint. I then contact the complainant to discuss this and see if they agree with the elements defined. I would then move this complaint into the investigation stage.
I have developed my customer service skills remarkably.
Very much, it is very enjoyable and gives a sense of achievement when you know you are helping someone an awful lot by escalating this complaint.
Very valued, the Civil service value there apprentices highly as the new era of civil servants.
The recruitment process was long and drawn out, however the structure is great, with a great opportunity to progress my academic background with the Level 4 qualification.
My training provider is always available to contact and will discuss any issues I have with my training.
Extreme amounts of support, they have a never ending patience. The support is great as it really makes you feel valued and 'wanted' by the office.
Very well. Definitely one of the highest paying apprenticeships.
I'm not 100% sure in the private sector, but there is always opportunities within the civil service to progress.
