Work coach, helping claimant's get back into employment. This involves sitting with claimant's and seeing how I can help them prepare and get back into work.
Learned how to use new case management systems, payment systems, interview techniques etc. I also grown more confident dealing with people face to face.
I enjoy meeting Claimant's and learning how to help them. I also enjoy the progression opportunities.
(DWP) I received praise from my collegues and manager and therefore feel very valued. I also get offered opportunites to do things outside my normal role, like attending events.
I don't here a lot from my Provider and had to chase up my learning schedule as they still have not provided me with access to the relevant systems. I also haven't been provided with an appointment for my assessor.
I haven't received any support as of yet- my provider hasn't contacted me in 2 weeks. I also have not been given a date when my assessor is to come into the office- I started 3 months ago.
My employer does provide me with support with regards to the work. My manager is also very understanding about any reasonable adjustments I will have to make as a part of my apprenticeship.
It's appropiate. I am able to pay rent, bills and travel costs.
I have been sent on various training courses and helped out with events outside of my normal work. I am also regulary asked to attend community centres during work hours to promote the company.
Yes
There's many benefits to working here. For example pay, annual leave, flexible working and a generous pension package.
(DWP). I would suggest that anyone joining should take responsibility for their own training and learning. I would also suggest them to do this as quickly as possible so you can be more effective in your role.
