I was a diary secretary to a cabinet minister. This involved organising meetings, working in parliament and Downing Street, as well as typinguo briefing requests.
Yes I have learnt time management and how to work under pressure. I have also learnt how to deal with new personalities.
I enjoyed the work but not the qualification curriculum. If possible, a qualification with more of a political focus rather than business would have been more beneficial.
Extremely. I was supported throughout and they hosted a meaningful graduation at the end. I was then supported when applying for a new role.
It was not organised at the start, however Capita quickly got the hang of it and the last year went by smoothly.
I got a lot of the NVQ side but felt it was lacking for the HNC. Although we received a classroom session this was too long and didn't answer key questions.

Perfectly. I had enough to move to London and rent as well as having spending money. Discrepancy between departments was frustrating however.
Yes- however I do not take part.
Yes
