I am a frontline support agent for colleauges supporting customers at first point of contact. My role is to prvide them with advice and support around legal documentation such as a Power of Attorney or Court of Protection.
I have learnt lots of new skills from customer service to project management.
Although the programme is intresting, i would prefer it if it were of a faster pace.
I think there is a certain stigma attached with being an "apprentice" and other colleauges treat you differently because of this.
As I am the first apprentice of this programme, the structure hasn't been fully defined as of yet, and therefore it is hard to comment on this. Up until this point however, it has been well organised.
My Learning mentor Brenda, has been fantastic. I enjoy her teaching methods and style, she is very personable and a pleasure to speak to. Brenda is very knowledgeable and is always happy to help.
Having time away from business as usual to focus on my apprenticeship has been difficult, I feel as though the operation is more important than the programme.
My Salary is okay, however it doesn’t reflect the amount of work I do.
There are lots of opportunities outside of work, however if they coincide with working hours, it would be difficult to have time away from BAU approved.
