I am assigned to the Crossrail C660 project that is for Control and Communication Systems for Crossrail systemwide. I am part of the SCADA test and commissioning team and I am currently working from London on various Crossrail sites across London that includes Paddington, Tottenham Court Road, Liverpool Street and Canary Wharf, among others. I look after PLC systems within cabinets that require testing throughout each stage of the project, eventually being tested with running trains.
I have learnt many new skills from various people and training programmes
I enjoy the experience I am getting from living away from home and working on a massive project alongside other big companies in various industries
I feel very valued by Siemens, they have gave me an opportunity of a lifetime, something I feel needs mutual respect to give to someone
The programme is ran the best it can be, with the project being in the stage it is, it's coping very well with regards to the work I get.
I receive support as and when I need support from the training provider
From various people I receive a lot of support, whereas I feel some people do not give much, and some, it seems try to hinder the experience
At the minute I feel as though the salary, in respect to the work I do is not brilliant, but is adequate
There's various activities that I could be a part of, one being 5/7 a side football
