each day I came in with a new task which I really liked. I was always asked if I needed more work or help with anything which I really liked about the programme. I interacted with people from all over the world when in a call with everyone in the oil and gas team which was an amazing experience.
I have really developed on my writing and proof reading skills. Also I have learned to analyse text more thoroughly. I did an IT course which has helped me when doing tasks.
I enjoyed being able to work in a team. It was amazing knowing how big Pinsent Masons actually is. This work placement actually exceeded my expectations because I didn't expect to be a valued team member which I was.
I felt like people actually wanted me there and listened to what I had to say no matter how silly it was. I felt really valued especially being asked to go to lunch with my team on Friday.
It was really well organised as the induction was really informative, the training was good. I had incredible support. My team all seemed to be equals as in no one was twling people what to do which was really nice.
I received immense support from my training provider because I was always asked how I was getting on and if I had any queries. my provider seemed interested in what I had to say.
At my part time work I do not receive any support from my employer but here I really did. It was nice to feel appreciated and valued compared to my part time job.
I don't know what I would get paid here but I am sure it would be sufficient seeing where Aberdeen is and the high living costs which it upholds.
It has been clear from all of the trainee talks that there are a lot of social events out side of work which I would be really interested in if I had a job here.
Yes
I would recommend this company to a friend because you actually get a feel of how it would be to work here. You feel like a valued team member.
Since I don't actually have a job here, all I would say is that is to keep up the positivity and the application process is really goos and shouldn't change.
