Currently on a role supporting in how we manage new client data in our databases. So this includes using internal software to research the client, their parent companies and see if we Audit them and any issues (audit) that would come up if we did work for them.
None, maybe how to handle rejection, being micromanaged, idle office gossip. But best of all, how to handle working whilst hungover.
I don't. A good way to earn lots of money and meet lots of people, but if you'd like to learn anything of value, or do a role that inspires you- this would not be the place. It's not a good scheme, leadership makes decisions to further break the Higher Apprentices happiness, aspiration and will. Anxiety, depression and sadness are the words I'd use.
Does any company value their employees? You're easily replaced, cheap labour and a cog in the machine. If you go, no one will care, if you do work well, that's what was expected of you anyways. If you do bad... well don't do bad.
There has been no communication on if and when the scheme finishes and you get promoted, the rotations tend to happen late with roles that are subpar. They are making it up as they go really.
Kaplan is fantastic I'm providing support and maintaining it to be honest, the diploma is supported well with tutors just one quick email away.
None, if you show an interest in one area, they will work to ensure you never get any work in that area. If you say you don't want something, you can bet that's what you're getting. So less than none, negative support if that exists
It's a pretty competitive salary, the main reason HApps don't leave- and the fact we don't have degrees which are a requirement for all roles. But it pays my bills and flat in London and the regular shppping trip and holiday.
The firm is huge, there's so much going on! From religious groups to sports groups to interest in international development for example. Anything anything is there.
No
In hindsight, for my happiness and fulfilment, I would have done better anywhere else than a place that doesn't want to develop you, wants to get you to spend two years doing things that are no use to you. Generally, if I'm your friend, I won't advise this at all.
Save your time and apply for a company that's not PwC. But if you still want to, use online forums for questions, the PwC website will spread a little light and generally the questions you'll find in chats are very close to interview questions. And be yourself!
