Working for Lloyds Bank Cardnet - Corporate Support. Day to day tasks include answering phones to corporate customers and helping out with tasks and any queries our customers may have.
How to be competent on the telephones. I was nervous at first before taking inbound phone calls but am confident in my own ability now.
I enjoy the apprenticeship programme, the workbooks can be tough and a little confusing but the team I work in are so useful. We all help each other out when necessary.
I feel very valued by LBG. Its important to receive praise for peers and managers, and this is something that happens often within our office. Feeling useful and an integral part of a team will boost confidence.
Our tutor visits us once a month and we are told in advance before she visits.
We are able to email and ask questions at any time, and we can ask her for help when she visits once a month. It would be beneficial to be able to see her more than this.
Our employers give us time to complete the workbooks set for us by our tutor.
Travel costs impact me as I live a fair distance away from the office.
There are many work events that go on here. I can do other things not just work, I play football a few evenings a week and go to the gym so my time is not all spent at work/doing the apprenticeship.
Yes
The opportunities are endless, you don't even have to work in an office and once you're on the ladder of LBG, it's great.
Be prepared for your interview, make sure you know about the group and especially the department you are going into.
