  • As a personal banking advisor I open bank accounts, set up loans and organise home insurance for a variety of customers.

  • I am constantly learning new things on the job. There is always on the job training to do. All the skills that I had or have learnt are constantly developing.

  • My apprenticeship programme I find to distract me from my actual job and therefore becomes stressfull.

  • I feel very valued. I receive good feedback from customers, employees and managers I come across.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I often find I don't know what's next on my apprenticeship programme. I would prefer to be given a list and deadlines and know what's got to be done by when instead of being told every month.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I feel that apart from the monthly visit I am left to my own devices. Sometimes I find I am left unsure on what needs to be done and what plans we've made.

  • My employer allows me to take time to complete some apprenticeship work and ask questions.

  • Very well. I am still paid as a full time colleague rather than apprenticeship money.

  • There are lots of opportunities to do as I need outside of work hours.

  • It's a good and enjoyable place to work whilst building up a great carer.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
  • Be yourself and understand that everyone is constantly learning. As a new starter you will be taught the newest ways to do things and therefore could straight away be showing others how to do something.
