I am currently a trainer for LBG and I train new and existing staff to take phone calls from customers and effectively deal with their queries. I train colleagues in both mortgages and current accounts.
I have greatly developed my time management skills, as I have been working towards my apprenticeship whilst doing my existing role and extra responsibilities.
I absolutely love this programme. I able to learn new skills, strengthen existing ones, all whilst working towards a qualification.
Extremely valued.
very well organised. I am always up to date with my assessor and am clear on where and when I need to handle work.
A lot of support. I can contact my assessor at any time, in a variety of ways and will always receive appropriate support.
A fair amount. I get dedicated time allotted away from my day to day role to complete tasks and meetings with my assessor.
The salary and benefits package is extremely competitive and the salary is being reviewed all the time. The incentive scheme is based on individual's performance and is not target based.
There are lots of opportunities outside of work to stretch ad challenge me and I also have the support to develop these areas from work and my learn direct assessor.
Yes
I have worked for different financial institutions before and I have done more working for LBG in 2 years than I have done in my whole working career. The colleague support and the brand values are lived and breathed in everything the company does.
When applying - honesty is the best policy. If getting through to interview stage, don't be afraid to talk about things that may not have gone to plan. They are more concerned with attitude and values than experience.
