In my role as a Loans Analyst I am involved in the management and servicing of LIBOR loans held by Lloyds bank. This involves daily interatcion with cutstomer and both internal and external stakeholders.
I have gained my Level 3 in Business Admin. I have also gained confidence and built up my presentation skills which I have not used since I was at university which has been very useful for me as I become more invlolved in the business.
I enjoyed the process of creating and delivering a presentation. I do think that the programme could be more interactive as the vast majority was spent shadowing my work. My tutors were also changed several times however my final tutor was a pleasure to work with and made the experience more enjoyable.
I feel as though my managers appreciate the work I do on a daily basis and feel that Lloyds are working towards making sure all colleagues feel valued.
I feel as though Learn Direct could have been much more organised. My tutor was changed several times and this caused a delay in my apprenticeship being completed. I also feel like some of the units, chosed by Lloyds, did not entirely meet my job description which caused some issues when coming up with ideas on what evidence to collect.
My final training provider could not have been more helpful. She was very organised and was always there to offer her support and guidence on the apprenticeship and on my future career plans.
My employer was very helpful with my apprenticeship and was always keen to offer me time away from my daily role to complete work and prepare for sessions with my tutor.
My costs were covered by my employer therfore I did not have any costs for completing the programme. Lloyds alos provided a lapotop for me to take home when I was preparing my presentation which was very helpful.
As i have just completed my apprenticship I have not yet sought out any external opportunites however I have become more invloved with forums in my buisness area.
Yes
I feel that Lloyds Banking Group is an excellent place to work. I feel that the company are focused on making sure that the colleague are well looked after with things such as BUPA healthcare. I alway enjoy how invloved Lloyds are with local and national charities as I feel this really makes them stand out from other employers.
As I started my role as a temporary contractor I did not go through the Lloyds application/interview process however I would recommend really researching the area the role you are apllying to is in as it is important to show you are interested in the role and the business.
