Complaint Manager - I deal with fraud and dispute complaints. I have to liase with a number of different teams on a daily basis to investigate customers claims, and then contact the customer with the outcome to their complaint. I write letters and audit all calls. I am the teams three way champion
When i began the apprenticeship i was a complaint handler for general banking. Since then i have gained competency in calls. I have also gained competency in collections and recoveries cases and calls and fraud and disputes cases and calls
The programme was very interesting. It meant i was researching things i werent aware of. The trip to birmingham was enjoyable, meeting all the other apprentices from accross the country and hearing what the guest speakers had to say
I feel very valued by lloyds banking group. There is always recognition events for hard work, and when targets are met we receive praise from managers.
I felt the program was well structured. We initially had an introduction which allowed us to see what it is we would be doing and learning about. When i began the booklets i could contact my tutor for support and guidence via email or phone if required. We had monthly catch ups to ensure we were on track and understanding things well. All in All i enjoyed the program and felt the organisation of it was spot on.
The support i have received couldnt have been any better. I had constant phone and email contact with my tutor who was very quick to respond and assist with my concerns. Yes i enjoyed it
The managers werent very involved with the program. However if i asked for assitance where i needed to find information the managers were always willing to help
I cant complain about my salary. I am been paid the same as my peers who are not on the apprenticeship. It is very rare you find an apprenticeship where you are paid the normal full time rate
We do a day to make a difference once a year. This allows us to help a company or charity for the day. Last year i arranged to make hampers for old peoples homes and i spent a day in one. This year we are helping the charity andy's man club. Which is a UK mental health charity. We will be helping with their admin, raising money for them, and helping them organise fund raising events. Outside of work i enjoy going to the gym and keeping fit.
Yes
it is a fun and friendly environment. the support is always there to help you grow within the business
Be yourself, the oppertunities within the bank are massive. The experience is enjoyable, and being part of the bank is something you wont regret
