On a day to day basis I generally answer queries from other colleagues and help solve access problem to software which is used within Finance. I also upload files to the systems for others to use the data from.
I am currently studying CIMA. Also we have to attend a lot of training days for our apprenticeship throughout
I thought it would be more organised, and that people would be aware of the programme.
I feel valued
My programme hasn't been organised or structured at all. We had no formal induction straight away. Also managers and colleagues are unaware of the course and how much time it requires, making it hard to leave work for apprenticeship requirements
I received a good amount of support, I can always email her if I need help.
I receive some support, but they don't understand the programme, and are unaware of the requirements.
The salary is good
There a lot of outside social events held, or team events
No
The apprenticeship programme needs to be improved before they take on new employees as they need to understand what is required before hiring and not having any of the programme set up - as we didn't start our programme for at least 6 months and we had no contact regarding the programme.
It a lot of work applying, as it has many stages - and finally an all day assessment. It seems a lot scarier than it is though, as everyone is really nice.
