  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a Commercial Apprentice and have been with EDF energy since September 2016. Whilst having the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the nuclear industry, the Apprenticeship scheme provides me with the opportunity to complete a HNC, HND and a degree in commercial management and quantity surveying. I currently do 4 month placements with different commercial teams, working both on site and at the headquarters in Bristol. By moving teams, I am given the opportunity to work at different stages of a contract; and have been heavily involved in the procurement stage.
