I am a customer service advisor, therefore my duties are serving customers at the counter and helping out at the enquiry desk.
I have learned a lot through the apprenticeship programme, from the different duties required and a lot about data protection that I wasn't aware of. This programme has also developed my confidence for working within the bank.
I enjoy it thoroughly, I like the support I receive from my trainer Liz and she's always just an email away if I have a query.
I feel valued as we are rewarded for the hard work that we do.
My programme is organised, however sometimes my branch isn't which makes it hard to fit time into getting my work done in the branch. I usually have to take work home to do.
I receive a lot of support from Liz as she answers all of my emails in a fast response and makes things easy to understand if I am not sure of something.
I receive support from my employer, however due to the shortened staff, it has been hard to receive the full training that I should have and i rarely get time off to complete my work.
My salary could be better as I do long days at work and always work extra.

I believe the managers really want you to have aims and goals and strive towards making yourself better.
I would say take your time when going through the training process and make sure you are fully aware of what you are doing before being left yourself.
