I am a telephone consultant. I answer customer queries and set up new accounts. This involves a lot of customer service skills and conversational skills allowing me to effectively deal with customer queries.
I have mainly developed existing skills but I have also learnt some new skills especially from the seminars where people were able to share their journeys and experiences through the company. I have deepened my knowledge of my existing skills as well.
I thourally enjoyed the programme. I thought the layout and timescales were great and the mid year seminar and end of year graduation seminar were a really great way to meet other apprentices and share experiences as well as learning about other areas of the group.
I feel very valued by Lloyds banking group. They have given me the opportunity to develope my skills further so that I can use them in my role and to progress within the banking industry. I feel that they have invested in me and that makes me feel valued.
The programme was very well organised. I had regular visits and meetings with my tutor who gave me structured assessments and deadlines to meet. I was informed of how long my programme would run and when I would be expected to complete it by.
I received as much support as I required. My training provide/tutor was available to contact anytime via email or telephone if I had any queries or issues. I was very happy with this.
My employer was very supportive they gave all the agreed time off the phones to complete my programme and have meetings with my tutor. They allowed observations and even supported with providing the information needed to complete my workbook.
My salary meets all my costs. Lloyds banking group covered all expenses for the programme including travel to the seminars and the fee to complete the course.
Although there are opportunities outside of work I would not know where to find them or what to do. Having the opportunity to do this within work has been great as without it I would not even have known where to start.
Yes
The benefits of working for lloyds banking group are excellent and they are a great company to work for. They provide lots of opportunities for their staff and have a range of roles that they can progress to as well as staff benefits such as mortgages, shares and car and bike schemes.
I would advise anyone applying to lloyds banking group to look at the company and its values and how they will help Lloyds achieve their goal to become the best bank for customers and help britain prosper.
