Creating specifications, planning and creating organoleptic taste panels. Assisting factory trials and creating storyboards.
Yes I have learnt how to make specifications, send and watch how to test microbiology, what goes into a factory on a day to day run.
The team of people I work with are all really nice and supportive and I enjoy the tasks I have to fulfil without it being really serious all the time.
I feel quite valued however I do not think I understand completely the benefit system, and I feel that the pay could be better.
Fairly well organised as there is normally a plan of what tasks I need to do, task delegation could be better as assignments are set all at once which is quite a lot to have on whilst working full time.
Not much
I receive quite a bit however I feel like I could have clearer direction given in the tasks I have to carry out. I do not receive much support from HR and I do not have a mentor that I know of.
Now that I am driving and paying for living costs it is quite hard to maintain. I have few social costs as it mainly goes into living and petrol for driving to work.
Not really as I work full time therefor I do not get a huge amount of time to do activities as I finish at 17:00. I do go to the gym after work sometimes however.
Yes
It is a friendly environment and is a nice place to work. People are all really willing to help and there is always work to keep you occupied.
Consider the job type they would like to do before applying and take into account that it is quite a high maintenance job.
