smart meter apprentice- i am either in the classroom learning different aspects of meter installing or out with a mentor to work on my skills and get experience in working in the field
yes, i have learned a lot of skills including working with gas and electricity as well as customer facing experience
i enjoy it a lot as it gives me a good work life balance and it challenges me to learn more and work hard
very, i feel looked after and i know that the support and guidance is there if needed.
it is well organised, and i do respect the fact that sometimes there are times where it can be a little un-organised
we receive a lot of help, whether it is in the classroom, through email or on the phone. there is always someone to talk to and ask advice
a lot, there is always information and advice being passed onto us through our managers/trainers or through emails.
for an apprenticeship i am more than happy with the pay, however i am excited to start earning more once i have finished the apprenticeship
i have a healthy work life balance at the moment so have lots of opportunities do the things i want like play football on saturdays
Yes
they will feel looked after, have lot of help and be able to forge a career within the company
