  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The salary currently meets my living costs as we are given a full wage, so I can manage just as any other person on my team could. My travel costs are quite expensive however I can live with that. The salary from LBG and the bonuses are fair I believe and is well located for the people of liverpool in a nice buisness park. I am happy with the starting salary and feel that Lloyds has a fair policy and salary reviews and looking after their staff. The salary currently meets my living costs as we are given a full wage, social costs are quite expensive given the area however the salary that lloyds pays is definitely good for a beginning apprenticeship and I feel that for a young member of staff the salary is more than efficient, however I have no idea of how

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • opportunies are we have charity events that we can go to, we can do voluntary work where the company will give us time to do, the location of the voluntary work where we are is great as there is alot to get involved in, the local community is aware of the work we get involved in and we can support any local cause we like and can always suggest somewhere new, we are also given paid time to take a day to give to a cause that we would like to do. We can also go to apprenticeship events days and further development with our career. We have discount of local leisure spots and gyms if that is your thing which I think is fantastic on people looking to budget. any activites we undertake can also be sponsored by the group and we can actively look to do different community evens sponsored by the group. • 9. Would you recommend Lloyds Banking Group to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Yes I would, the opportunities are fair providing you put the work in and the management is supportive and lively.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
  • The application process was easy and simple to follow, you will be kept up to date with a recruitment consultant who will keep you up to date with everything regarding your application, the interviews over the telephone will ask you about your experience and relevant qualifcations and will ask about a time when you have done something before, the assesment day is quite strenouous and you will need to be able to show the right etiqutte when at the assesment day just as you would in work, I would like to have been told about the questions we were to have asked and what sort of assesments we would be having on the day, overall it was a great experience and I enjoyed the challenge of the day. The group introduced us all with with a brief history of the group and offered the chance to ask any questions, the opportunities are fair providing you put the work in and the management is supportive and lively whilst you are on the assesement day, I would also try to ask as many questions as possible to get a good understanding of the role you will undertake. It is a great way of making sure the role is right for you and the interviews with the managers are friendly and the managers give you more than enough time to explain and answer.
