I worked on projects with different people. My daily interacts consists of talking to my home team, sending out the emails to my team about the project deadlines, going to workshops and meeting senior executives. Furthermore, everyday was a different day allowing me to have flexibility to take on different tasks.
I developed the skill to present in front of executives and those of other senior managers. I got to gain a team leader qualification approved by CMI also I got to learn how to think quickly on my feet learning that the project changes every minute and how to adapt to those changes.
I loved the project! It gave me a chance to experience a working life on a day to day places. Also unlike other work experience placements, it actually gave me the option to get onto real live projects working with clients.
They consistently gave me amazing opportunities to have one of my works to be featured with a client's pack, they praise and encourage you to do better and be better. They really just make you apart of the family even for a short while.
Although the programme was amazing overall, organization with the log books and the order was the days were not structurally put together properly however the business experience week was good.
Everyday, the EY staff encouraged us and helped us to go on and continue on with the programme. Furthermore they gave us a buddy and a mentor to help us get to know the company better.
EY staff are just brilliant. I could not fault them for their support and helping me with my problems e.g. getting to work, access to documents and etc.
It sufficiently covered my cost for travel, lunch
There are internal opportunities to join their network as student and it allows it allows the students to meet and build their own network meeting executives and senior managements.
Yes
It is a brilliant experience, they put you through real life situations unlike others who put you through hypothetical situations that are really not useful. You will love it, hands down.
The telephone interview is the best part. Relax as they are trying to get to know you and really want you to come to the programme. Do your best and believe yourself.
