I was part of a work experience programme aimed at young people where I was in a group of around 60 students. We were aiming towards earning a qualification in management so a lot of our sessions were focused on presentations which gave us an understanding of the skills we needed to complete the log book to earn the qualification.
I have developed my existing skills in team leading as a lot of our presentations were focused on that, but I have also learnt new skills in time management.
I enjoyed the programme to a high extent. I learnt new skills and experienced working in businesses I may have never gotten to work in.
I feel very valued by EY as they made sure we understood exactly what we had to do and the places we had to go for our work placements.
My programme was organised very well. Everyday we had a clear vision of what we were going to do.
I received good support from my training advisor as they made sure I was always sure in what I was doing.
I received good support from my employer as they always kept regular contact with me.
My salary meets my costs well.
There are many opportunities outside of work for me to include myself in.
Yes
It is a great programme that includes a lot of useful and beneficial experiences.
Be prepared to meet lots of new people.
